Special Needs Bus Services
Our drivers want to make sure that the students arrive at school or back at home in a relaxed and happy state.
Cole’s Coaches carers and drivers are fully qualified to do their job in a safe and considerate manner. Carers and drivers are trained to make the bus environment as comfortable as possible for the students.
All drivers and carers have a first aid qualification and some carers have skills to help a person that may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Communication is key to building relationships with the school community and Cole’s Coaches carers and drivers are regularly commended on this front.
The buses used are designed with the students in mind. Most of the vehicles have a ramp at the entrance to make it easy for students to disembark and board.
Buses are also equipped with the latest technology using tablets that help manage the safety of students on board. Tracking applications can also be used so you can see where the bus is located. Plans put in place go over and above the legal requirements set out to operate the services. This brings piece of mind for all stakeholders.
Cole’s Coaches currently operates Special Needs Services in the Geelong & District region.
